Stock Up On Cranberries!

The holiday season is the best time to stock up on fresh cranberries. They are on sale this time of year and they can be frozen to last all year. Cranberries are so nutritious. They are filled with antioxidants. Stock up on cranberries during November and December and freeze them for the year. Add them to pancakes, muffins, waffles, smoothies and use them frozen in your holiday punch. I love to make homemade cranberry sauce during the holidays. When making homemade cranberry sauce, substitute honey or maple sugar for white sugar and add a lot of fall spices with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Enjoy!
