The 2019 Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen list!

I know that buying organic foods can be very expensive. I advocate a plant based diet and I know that eating a whole foods plant based diet that is 100% organic is out of reach for most of us.

I would encourage you to do what I do when it comes to shopping for my large family. I do not compromise on the dirty dozen. Those are the 12 foods that when tested always come up with high pesticide levels even after they are washed well. Try to buy produce on this list that is only organic and then save money buy purchasing regular produce on the clean fifteen list. The foods lists on the clean fifteen are lower in chemicals and pesticides. In testing produce on the clean fifteen list, the pesticides were easier to wash off for these foods.
