Don’t Be Afraid of Fruit!
So many fad diets are telling people to eliminate sugar and in general that is good advice. Processed sugar is not good for our bodies. Eliminating the naturally occurring sugars found in fruit is another thing. Fruits are full of vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need. Take advantage of the abundance of summer produce available right now to eat a diet full of the colors of the rainbow. Try to buy colorful berries on sale this time of year and freeze them for smoothies if you don’t think you will finish them at their peak.
